Accessibility

We want Seisin to be usable by as many people as possible and aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practical, both on this website and in the app.

What we do today

• Colour choices aim for sufficient contrast, and the app picks readable text colours automatically against your chosen accent colour.
• Light, dark, and midnight themes let you pick a comfortable contrast level.
• The interface respects your system "reduce motion" setting and tones down animations accordingly.
• This website uses semantic HTML, scales with browser zoom, and adapts to smaller screens.

Known limitations

Seisin is a small, early project. Some areas, particularly data-dense charts and the interactive map, are not yet fully optimised for screen readers or keyboard-only navigation. We are improving this over time.
