A spreadsheet can hold rows, but it can't hold a search. Once you're also tracking interview rounds, prep notes, resume versions and competing offers, keeping it all in one sheet turns into its own project. Seisin keeps the application, the interview prep, the resume you sent and the offer you got on the same record, and builds the analysis from it automatically, without a formula in sight.
Those are good tools, and each is a polished web app with a browser extension that clips postings as you browse. The trade is an account and your data on their servers, usually with the more useful features behind a monthly plan.
Seisin is a different shape. It runs entirely on your machine with no login, and it keeps the application, the interview prep, the resume version you sent and the offer you got on one linked record, then builds the analysis from it: response rate by source, your conversion funnel, where the pipeline actually stalls. That analysis is part of the free app, not a paid add-on, and a lapsed subscription can never lock you out of your own history.

The installers aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper flag them by default. The download section below has the exact steps to get past each one; it's a one-time thing per install.

Apple Silicon only. Unsigned, so Gatekeeper blocks it by default - right-click the app and choose Open the first time. If that option isn't there, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway.
No extra packages needed - install it like any other package, or run sudo dpkg -i Seisin-Setup.deb. No first-run confirmation step.
Make it executable first: chmod +x Seisin-Setup.AppImage, then run it directly. If it won't start, most distros are missing libfuse2 - run ./Seisin-Setup.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run instead, which needs nothing extra.
